Blugre Coffee's Summer Cooler Blast!

April 06, 2013 , , 1 Comments

It's the start of the warmest season of the year and aside from bumming the beach, I have this good news to make your summer a blast! Introducing Blugre's sweet escape to the very hot and humid summer weather, the all new summer cooler blast!

Blugre Coffee will be launching their new summer quenchers; The Raspberry blast and Passion Fruit Blast this April. It's a perfect combo with Halo-halo Torte. This is a refreshing drink to fight the heat of the sun. weew!

Homegrown Blugre Coffee has been consistently innovating and expanding their market not just in the Philippines but globally. The company owner showed so much enthusiasm while introducing their new products that will only be made available during summer season. Mr. Benjie M. Cuaresma also shared some updates and future plans of the company on our round the table talk and taste event with Davao Bloggers last April 5, 2013.

Raspberry Blast

We first tasted the Raspberry Blast. It is sweet and subtle that I can hardly find the difference between strawberry (they're of the same family anyway. lol). There's a tiny bits of seeds you can grit after a couple of zip, just like eating the real raspberry fruit. The cream blends well with the flavor of Raspberry giving it a smooth scent of aroma after every zip. Overall, my new personal favorite. ^_~

While, Raspberry Blast is sweet and subtle, this Passion Fruit Blast has a taste of a tropical paradise. A mix taste of sweet and sour in one large cup blended with whipped cream and jelly on top. A perfect refreshment during this summer. I imagine beach after I got to taste passion fruit blast. haha

And lastly, a product of the creative and innovative thinking of Mrs. Cuaresma, the Halo-halo torte. Imagine the taste of halo-halo into that slice of cake above. Possible? Yes! Blugre's new addition to their list of desserts, the Halo-halo Torte. From the name itself, halo-halo torte has the exact ingredients of a typical halo-halo mix. It has macapuno, nangka, lecheflan, mongo, ube, flakes and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The cream neutralize the sweetness. The taste is delightful that you will surely want more slice of it at a price of 145.00Php.. Hindi siya nakakasawang kainin..

This is just one of the good news Blugre Coffee owner Mr. Benjie M. Cuaresma and his team shared to us during our food tasting event. They have a lot of good news to announce and to celebrate. So always stay tuned for more updates. ^_~
