The left and right entry of burger joints in Davao City is an affirmation that davaoeños really love burgers. And an addition to the list of a must visit burger venues offering a sumptuous, mouthwatering yet affordable burger dishes is this another proudly davaoeño owned burger joint in Davao named 'The Metro Burgers'.

I'm one of the lucky bloggers who were invited for a food tasting event (and a food photography mini workshop) from the owner itself, Eight Espino of Eight Productions last saturday, 2 days before they open their doors to the public.

The Metro Burgers is a new burger joint that is owned by Sir. Eight Espino, a Davao based Professional Photographer that specializes on wedding photography/film making (Visit his website at www.eightproductions.com). Even though he didn't talked much about their future plans, I am pretty sure that this is already a good start and a promising step towards a successful business venture.

From the name and the logo itself, The Metro Burgers reflects the modern lifestyle of every davaoeños. It offers a homey atmosphere for those burger lovers who wants to take a bite of their luscious burgers. The place is simple yet stylish. Orange wall was painted with modern artwork designs while picture perfect collage are creatively framed on white wall to add some drama that the visitors will surely love.

The Metro Burgers offers 5 enticing dishes to choose from. The regular burger, Chinese burger, Mexican burger, bacon & mushroom burger and double burger. What makes them unique among others is their patty, it is 100% pure beef patty that has cheese on the inside which melts while it is being grilled. You can imagine the juice of the patty mixing with the melted cheese, now that's one specialty you should not miss.

The burger was bigger than what I expected. The ingredients of their burgers consists a slice of lettuce, onion, steak sauce and their signature cheesy patty. I ordered bacon and mushroom burger so it has an additional ingredients of Bacon and mushroom (of course lol). The taste was great especially the juice coming out from the patty. The bacon and mushroom is addictive. Yummy!!! Overall, it was indeed a luscious, mouthwatering dish that I will surely love to eat anytime of the day everyday.

Many thanks to Sir Eight and Ms. Ria for the invitation. I learned a lot especially when it comes to photographing foods on any possible scenario I will encounter. Thanks also for that very sumptuous and delicious servings of your burger..

The Metro Burgers opens its doors to the public today (February 18, 2013) at Juan Dela Cruz Street, corner Magsaysay Avenue (fronting the parking entrance of Metrobank Magsaysay Branch).

So if you are looking for a place to have a luscious, mouthwatering burgerrific meals, I highly recommend this new burger destination in town.. ^_~
