Red Corner Burger Cafe - Davao City's new burger contender

I recently stumbled upon a new burger joint named Red Corner Burger Cafe along Mabini St. in Davao City, a new contender in burger business that is slowly making their fame in the midst of the growing burger restaurants in the ever growing City of Davao.


Red Corner Burger Cafe is a boxing themed restaurant located at Mabini St. that offers delectable yet affordable burgers. The new burger joint was situated in a street corner which has an interior filled mostly with red - thus the name "Red Corner" came from.


Red Corner is just a small space that can cater more or less 20 customers at a time. Though the space is relatively small, you'll be surprised how big their burger servings are. Their menu is composed of different famous boxing personalities around the world that has characters which can easily be associated with their burgers.



We ordered three of their best sellers named "Smokin", "Lights Out" and "the real deal". Smokin comes with two 1/4 pound charbroiled beef patties topped with cheese sauce, caramelized onions, sauted mushroom, country fried bacon and drizzled with smokey barbeque sauce. The Real Deal comes with two 1/4 pound charbroiled juicy beef patties topped with cheese sauce, caramelized onions, sauteed mushroom and honey-cured bacon. Lights Out has three 1/4 pound charbroiled juicy beef patties topped with cheese sauce, caramelized onions, sauteed mushroom and honey-cured bacon. All comes with free 300 grams fries. The taste was surprisingly great. The patty does taste like it is made with pure beef and that means no extenders. And with that, I will definitely come back for more burger madness.

Aside from their best sellers, Red Corner's menu comes with different burger lists that is according to your appetite servings. Their most expensive quarter-pound burger, the "Pacman," costs only P160 and adding P25 will net the customer fries and a glass of red iced tea.



If you're a heavy eater you must accept their challenge on eating "The Greatest" Muhammad Ali (comes with two 1/2 pound charboiled beef patties capped with honey-cured bacon, country fried bacon, cheese sauce), which happens to be Red Corner's burger served with two half-pound patties and 300 grams of fries, costing P450 but completely free if the customer can down everything in five minutes. Are you ready to take the challenge? visit Red corner Burger Cafe today and enjoy one of the best tasting burgers in Davao City.
